While I was writing this post, I listened to Budapest by George Ezra. Try it !

I love the Hunger Games so much that anything can be a reference to that series of books/movies to me these days - for instance, I went to the movies a few weeks ago to see the movie Escape Room (I loved it so, so much that I went to see it in French once and another time in English and would definitely watch it again !) and the end made me think of the Hunger Games in some way. If you've watched both, tell me your opinion about whether there are similarities between the two movies !

Anyway, I had no specific idea when I started that look - I just knew I wanted to use some of my new M.A.C. products from the Boom Boom Bloom collection I've reviewed not long ago, especially the matte lipstick in Framboise Moi and the Lipglass in Cherry Mochi.
I am also trying out some BeautyBay palettes I've bought aside from the Brights Shimmer 9 Colour Palette and the Brights 16 Colour Palette and I was feeling something kind of purple or pink to match the lips so I used the Berry Matte & Berry Shimmer palettes I've received not long ago - and then off I went !
I'm really glad I pursued the pinched lips look that looks half like the twenties' looks paired with that eyeshadow shape and half like what Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games could have worn. Also, I'm super happy with how the eyeshadows from the BeautyBay Berry palettes have turned out, they look really great !
I've had this makeup frenzy lately ; I've bought a few products from NYX, some from L.A. Girl, a brand I'm trying out for the first time ever and I've also just gotten myself a few Satin lipsticks from M.A.C. ; Peachstock, Myth and Fleshpot which are some of the palest lipsticks from M.A.C. so I can do some really nice nude ombre lips in the future. All this makeup has got to be used and I'm currently working on trying them out to review and also working out some really nice ideas that I can't wait to make reality !
